Interfleet Wins National Export Award

Interfleet Technology Ltd was a winner at the 2000 Exporter of the Year Awards, organised by leading export magazine The Export Times, supported by the British Exporters Association.

Interfleet won the 'Trail Blazer' category, in recognition of the company's export achievements in difficult overseas markets, where significant sales have been achieved in the face of often very difficult conditions, including trade and cultural barriers. The award was presented to Interfleet during a prestigious awards ceremony held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Monday 27th November 2000.

Interfleet has successfully delivered many major overseas assignments since its formation in 1996. Recent international projects have included the development of a long-term strategic maintenance plan for the South African Rail Commuter Corporation (working in conjunction with local specialists Morning Star Projects), production of a procurement specification for the replacement of electric freight locomotives in Uzbekistan and development of a specification for new electric multiple-units in India.
